Subject: Passed CCIE R&S at RTP on March 4th 2008.CCIE #20179
Too many people to thank so forgive me if I forget anyone. CCIE #20179.
My wife and daughter for putting up with me when I was half awake and labbed
out.
Naren and Bahram at CyscoExpert in Chicago.
Brian M and Brian D from InternetworkExpert for their excellent labs and
resources.
Scott Morris from IPExpert - for all of the great information and support he
provides all of us.
Paul Borghese for providing groupstudy.
Scott Vermillion and Joseph Brunner for keeping me motivated to follow their
examples. I'll race you to SP. Get some sleep.
Greg and Paul for Dynamips and Dynagen
The proctors at RTP for putting up with my CCNA level questions during the
labs. I admit I was nervous..
All of my bosses and customers at work for putting up with an employee who
wasn't getting much sleep.
My history
Passed the written in 11/06. Failed the lab 3 times - March, August and
September of 2007.
Working with Cisco and IT since 1997 in various roles and responsibilities.
I primarily used the IE Vol 4 labs 1 - 20.
Best advice I can give to candidates.
Don't rush scheduling the test. I won't even consider scheduling my SP lab
until I can ace the difficultly level 10 labs in under 6 or 7 hours.
