Trust me, tried all of that, check the idle cpu usagame and memory usage! Im
not alone in this thought, besides I dont use XP either, Linux and XP are
world apart when it comes to dynamips. Perhaps it is also becuase I use an
Ubuntu64 boot that has everything stripped out except dynamips / dynagen.
With this setup the vendor workbooks will run at low CPU and no problems,
with Vista I found that towards the end of a lab the cli become slow and
sluggish, BGP would flap (and then event dampening kick in), not to mention
driving the CPU constantly at 100%.

If you manage to run a FULL lab on Vista then my hat of to you.
