IPv6 addressing

Hi Team:

Hope this isn't too much of a both, but I am going through IPv6 right now
and am really trying to figure out the times when it is necessary to include
certain "options" on commands.

 Configure IPv6 on the Frame Relay circuit between R1, R2, and R3 using
the network 2001:149:X:123::/64.

HERE BECAUSE OF A DYNAMIC ROUTING PROTOCOL THAT HAS TO BE RUN OVER THE
FRAME-RELAY CLOUD?)
frame-relay map ipv6 2001:149:1:123::2 103 broadcast WHY IS THE BROADCAST
OPTION NECESSARY HERE? IS IT BECAUSE OF DYNAMIC ROUTING PROTOCOLS THAT USE
MULTICAST ADDRESSES FOR ROUTING UPDATES? IS IT BECAUSE REAL MULTICAST NEEDS
TO BE OVER THE SERIAL LINK? WHY IN THIS CASE IS BROADCAST SUPPORT NOT
DEFINED FOR THE LINK LOCAL ADDRESS?
