Tandou, ALL virtual-links belong to area 0, so with the commands:
area 0 authentication message-digest
area 41 virtual-link 9.9.2.2 message-digest-key 1 md5 cisco
you are enabling ospf md5 authentication to ALL area 0 adjacencies.
(including the virtual-link).
with this command:
area 41 authentication message-digest
you are ALSO enabling md5 authentication to area 41 adjacencies.
So if you were asked to ONLY enabling md5 authentication to area 0
adjacencies, the first two commands (area 0 authentication message-digest,
area 41 virtual-link 9.9.2.2 message-digest-key 1 md5 cisco) are ok.
