Hello guys, from the IOS Firewall config guide in the DocCD (12.4):
"Cisco IOS Firewall is available only for IP protocol traffic. Only TCP and
UDP packets are inspected. (Other IP traffic, such as ICMP, cannot be
inspected with Cisco IOS Firewall and should be filtered with basic access
lists instead.)"
So my question is: why would we ever use the command "ip inspect name CBAC
icmp"? Or why is it even available?
Thanks
