Hi,
For example:
I will have 4 queues.
1 priority for voice (50% of the line)
2 for signalling 30%
3 for other important traffic 15%
4 default for other 5%
On all these queues according to some principals queue lenghts(or
depths) should be configured. As far as I know average packet size, %of
the link usage and other stuff should be considered when deciding these
lenghts.
For example I have read somewhere this formula:
Length = (link bw * %max used in case of congestion / 8) / average
packet size
Any directions and thoughts on this will be well appreciated.
