I was tasked with creating a full mesh frame between four routers using
inverse arp. I do a show frame map on all the routers to make sure that there
are no "extra" mappings that I don't want/need. There were only 3 dynamic
mappings on all four routers s0/0 interfaces, so I don't need to disable
inverse arp for any of the vc's. Later I have to do traffic shaping on two of
the routers, and when I do a show traffic-shaping I have vc's that didn't show
up as dynamic mappings when I first configured the routers.
Why didn't inverse-arp pick up these vc's when I did show frame map in the
beggining'?
I'm thinking that the serial interfaces that would be mapped to those vc's are
shut so there is no inverse arp coming thru those vc's
Is that somewhat right?
