Re: Question On Distribute Lists

Hi Matt,

I've only used set ip next-hop for policy based routing at the interface
level, via ip policy <route-map>. Applying a route-map on a distribute-list
is a handy way to be able to match route-types or tags, but the set part
isn't taken into account. Furthermore, in OSPF, the distribute-list will
only filter out updates to the routing table. The LSA database will still
contain those routes and they'll be propagated to that router's OSPF
neighbors.
