I am quiet sure that storm-control does not work on egress traffic, but on port ingress traffic (incoming traffic) only.

Hi,

Can you confirm that I'm correct on the following topic :

When you want to limit egress traffic on a 3550 switch you can use the command
storm-control unicast ........

When you want to limit ingress traffic on a 3560 switch you can use MQC map with the police command .

On a 3560 you can limit egress traffic with the srr-queuee bandwidth limit
and you can limit ingress traffic also with MQOC map and police command
