Hi Rahmat,

Unity needs a message store, it can be exchange and then you will have it on the same box (voicemail only) or you will can have exchange on a separate box (unified).

If it is notes, it can only be unified.

As for the documents to install unity standalone (voicemail only), have a look at the following url:

I would like to install Cisco Unity 4.x, would like to know is there a real
requirement for having Exchange Server/Lotus Notes for it, since i did not
find any document to install unity on a standalone store, if anyone did this
installation appreciate help

How about Unity for CCIE Voice Preparation does it requires any of these
mail server for integration
