Cristian,
FR end-to-end keepalive is applied only s0/0.54. As far as I know if the
keepalive fails (pvc down/inactive) then only s0/0.54 will go down not the
entire interface (R5's s0/0 or s0/0.125).
Regards,
George

Hi everybody
In task 3.1 we are asked to do a back-up interface for a Frame-Relay
circuit.
The HDLC link should be used only if the FR is down.
The SG use the ene-to-end keepalive but the back-up interface command is
put under the subinterface of R5.
I know that the end-to-end keepalive is used to shut the interface if
the PVC is down over the FR cloud (i hope that i am not wrong)
So....if the problem occurs the entire interface will be shut. Am i wrong?
I have used another solution with tunnels (source/destination on FR
interfaces)....and back-up interface on the tunnel. Is this wrong?
Cristian
