When auto-summary is on, it will summarise at both the classful boundary and
discontiguous subnets. When auto-summary is off, and you are running RIPv2,
you will not summarise at all (each network is propagated with its relative
subnet mask).
Make sense? As Darby says, best to lab it up, thats what I did many years
ago and it all makes sense....

Did you lab it to find out? I think if you do it
yourself a couple of things will happen:
1. You will know for a fact.
2. You can put this puppy to rest for now on.
If you rely on others, you may still feel uncertain
later in your studies.
