Hi Group,
I went through this document and a lot of other CCO search results. Still I am not clear about how to use srr-queue in 3560. I understand how to do bandwidth allocations using wrr queue for 3550.
Can somebody show me an example with little but clear explanation on how to implement srr queue? CCO examples are so complicated and not really in detail. May its that I do not understand the logic. :-)
Let us say my task is to allocate 10% for Q1, 20% for Q2, 30% for Q3 and 40% for Q4? I have dscp values for all these traffic so I can match it. I can see a srr-queue bandwidth interface command but do not know how to link it with the traffic classes. I also see that I can apply a queue set (1 or 2) to the interface and define srr queue parameters (bw/thresholds) in the global configuration. But again how are we matching the traffic? Using DSCP maps?
I am lost here and no clue where I am heading with this research.
Regards,
NP
