Probably different operating costs per location, or perhaps a
calculated "how much can I get this guy to pay" from the marketing
team. Or
even more likely, at one point in time the exchange rate per country really
did work out to 1400 US dollars. The exchanges fluctate a lot. Either way it
is pretty crappy that it works out to cost more in some locations, when
cisco advertises the lab cost as 1400 US dollars.
