Could work the other way also Alex, I have learnt quite a bit after I started
pursuing my CCIE that I havent come across at work. And this information has
helped me discover new possibilities.

CCDE has gotta do a lot with best practices, so i think it is in line with the
career progress for a CCIE and in the best interest for the employers
