Subject: I'm finally a Triple CCIE
Hi everyone,
It's 7 o'clock here in Brussels and I just gotta a confirmation from my
yesterday's attempt on Security and I gotta a nice PASS on the score, I've
been studying a lot for this track even bought the equipments since I never
worked a lot with security I had to start almost from scratch, reading a lot
of books some from cisco others from different vendors or even some hackers
books just to try to figure out a bit how they can go ahead and bring a
network down.
It's been some really exaustive months where I have slept a little and
during
my preparation I've met someone more determined and may I say crazy (coz I'm
still thinking when this person take a rest or even sleep) his name is
Samarth
and I would like to THANK HIM a lot for all his support and coach on a day
by
day basis, Samarth you are already a guru in Security, believe me !!!
I had some problems getting to Brussels, because I bought my ticket in one
of
those nights after studies and I was really sleepy and guess what I bought
the
flight from Ryanair arriving in the South of Brussels so I had to cross the
city to go to the exam and doing the same back after my exam, I even left
the
exam 40 minutes earlier to avoid missing my flight but it was useless
because
I missed it and I had to buy another one for the day after and gotta a hotel
(so my first advise avoid Brussels CHARLEROI Airport it's almost 2 hours far
from the city) |o|
People would be wondering which materials I've used, well I want also to
thank
Khawar Butt for his expertise and good workbook I couldn't have done without
his workbook (I've always used Internetworkexpert workbooks, but I found
kind
of hard to use their workbook for Security maybe it's designed for people
who
work everyday day with security) another think I liked about Khawar workbook
it's that the solutions are videos (without sound on it) so you can see the
solution and learn from it.
I've bought the internetworkexpert but I haven't used at all, their Advanced
workbook it's quite good and there are nice stuff like Isakmp Profiles to do
VPN L2L and Remote Access at the same time and things like this, I HAVE used
their CoD product and it's quite good :-D
Thanks Netmetric-Solutions and InternetworkExpert and I special thanks for
Samarth and Rocco T. and of course my girlfriend Nati for all their support
throughout my studies.
Now after I little rest I'll go for voice, but I don't know which vendors
should I go for.
Ohh Is anybody from this group going to Spain next week for the Networkers?
coz I will be there
:-D
