Hi Experts,
Is it possible using switch port-security to limit the user to connect
only phone to some port and not any PC on that port ???
If yes ,please let me know how ???
I tried to do as following:
interface FastEthernet0/18
switchport mode access
switchport voice vlan 51
switchport port-security
switchport port-security violation shutdown switchport port-security
maximum 1 vlan voice spanning-tree portfast end
but it is still learning the Mac address on this port from Vlan 1
(Default Vlan for access port)
SW4#sh port-security int f0/18
Port Security : Enabled
Port Status : Secure-up
Violation Mode : Shutdown
Aging Time : 0 mins
Aging Type : Absolute
SecureStatic Address Aging : Disabled
Maximum MAC Addresses : 1
Total MAC Addresses : 1
Configured MAC Addresses : 0
Sticky MAC Addresses : 1
Last Source Address:Vlan : 0019.2f90.860d:1

I just wanted this port to learn Mac addresses for only voice phone and
not Data.
Is this possible to only secure mac for voice phone??
Thanks,
Gops
