Come to think of it the CCNA and CCNP exams were a
little more straight forward and a lot of commercial
materials were readily available, especially for these
areas.

Hmmm...

The CCIE Written is another under-served area by
comparison.

For the CCIE, take away our vendors (who give
bootcamps and CCIE Training) and we are left with...

The DOC CD and a few Cisco Press Books (the ones with
practice labs that are a bit dated).
