Hey again Navid,

Just had a quick gander at that lab topology. IIRC, this was somewhat of a
contrived situation that gives you the need to configure a certain feature
of BGP (accept your own AS in BGP advertisements). You won't see that too
often (at least not through Lab 11 you won't, which is as far as I can speak
authoritatively)...

Regards,

Scott

Subject: iBGP full mesh impossible ?

Hi,

I understand we should always try to use either route-reflectors or
confederations when we don't have a full mesh iBGP

but some times it IS impossible, as in IE R&S lab 3, where there are 2
totally disjointed groups of routers in the same AS

is there any other situation where we should not loose time trying to
fullfil this iBGP full mesh requirement ?

thanks,
Navid
