WAE is configured for web-caching application (port 80) in ISP environment.
Router is redirecting traffic using WCCP protocol and WAE is serving the
available cached web pages to the users.
Now, Cisco documentation says that there could be maximum 3000 (don't
remember the exact figure, but big WAE box has about 7K session limit). TCP
sessions limit when box is deployed in WAN optimization scenario.
The box is runing ACNS software (latest image).
Do u think WAN optimization maximum concorrent TCP session limit will valid
for the web caching as well?
In other words, how many sessions are supported by WAE-612 in web caching
environment?
