ipv4 multicast address family is used for your native service-provider basic
multicast RPF reachability information. (normal IP multicast)
MDT is used specifically for VPN MDT information for PE-PE reachability.

address-family ipv4 multicast & address-family mdt
2. In which case shud we use each..
Till now I have worked on simpe topology & used " address-family ipv
multicast" to route RP and Peering IPs for multicast.
