Hi Frog,

It is important to know both methods and adapt the correct one to the required
scenario, usually in a two or three sites call manager deployments, it makes
no sense to use it. It will probably have no advantages and will not save the
need to create extra css.

But some extension mobility scenarios might require it, that is why yo should
know it.

Also, if you are used to this method you can use it, I had students who were
so used to it so they preferred using it and were doing as good as others were
doig with the traditional.

Guess the vendors workbooks were written by folks who learned it before there
was a partition field under the line ;)

For the voice lab exam purpose, just wondering if anyone has used /or using
"*LINE/Device*" approach?
Most workbook are based on "traditional" approach.
