Private Vlan relies on the switch's ASIC which is absent on any virtual
representation of an IOS.

As for your CCIE preparation, I recommend getting a 3560 (8 Port Switch) for
Private Vlan preparation, if money is a concern.

The 3550 does not support full fledge Private LANs, just protected ports.

Hi Groups,Here I stopped in below command to apply  in my
home  lab switch using "DYNAMIPS".!!The commands tried in
switch not supporting under dynamips.private-vlan primary/private-vlan
association 281!!! Dynamips using cisco ios version
"c3640-ik9s-mz.124-3b.bin", any clue / pass some tips else any recomended
