The issue, we need to distinguish between "Exit Interface" and "source IP
address".

By default a multicast ping is sent on all "ip-enabled unshut interfaces"

For each interface the source IP will be the IP address of the interface.

In order to force a "SINGLE" exit interface, you need to use extended ping.
