Subject: Multicast issue
Hi
I have the following setup in multicast PIM mode. R1 is connected to R2
via Ethernet. R2 is the RP (in sparse mode with nbma) and is conneted
via Frame Relay to R5, R6 and R4. R9 is connected to R6. I have an
igmp join group on R1 for 224.100.100.100. Here is the issue. When I
do a continuous ping from R4, R5 or R6 to 224.100.100.100 I have no
timeouts. However from R9 I get the first few pings but then get
timeouts. I have not connectivity issues and my routing table is very
stable. Any help is appreciated. Let me know and I will provide debug
commands.
