Hi Frog,
My recommendation is not to need the univercd during the lab ;)
The only thing you should need it for are urls, some under the call manager administration feature guide (extension mobility, ipma) and one for ipcc ip phone agent under the installation guide of the desktop product suite, in the ipcc express which is in customer contact.
Let me know if you need more details on those urls.
