Hello All,

  My setup

      R1 (Ptp interface,1.1.1.1).......R2 (Multipoint interface, 1,1,1,2).....(PtP interface,1.1.1.3)R3 (FE0/0, IGMP group 227.7.7.7)

So R1 and R3 are connected to Multipoint interface of R2.
IP pim nbma-mode is enabled on the R2 multipoint interface.
RP is known in the three rotuers and no RPF issues as it is one direct path!

If i try to ping the group 227.7.7.7 from R1 PtP interface (1.1.1.1) it doeasn't work!
If i try to ping the same group from R1 loopback interface(11.11.11.11) it works!

  R2 MRouting table!
