dyanmips lab setup help needed: how to install 12 usb network

Hi experts,
    Well this may sound dump.. i bought 12 usb nics and hope to setup a full
dynamip lab with dedicated nic for each virtual routers.. i bought 3 units of
4-port USB hub for the 12 nics.. the system has no problem recognizing the
first 4 nics.. however the moment i add in the 5th nic, it crashes with the
first nic; when add in the 6th, it crashes with the 2nd.. and so on.. I have
already spread the usb hubs among the USB ports on my board.. i even tried
geting pci usb hub but the situation is the same.. not sure whether anyone
encountered this before and hopefully someone can give mi some advise on
this.. I am using windows XP..
