This summary I prepped earlier this year, so it might be a little outdated
-------------------------

MPLS and VPN Architectures, Vol. 1
First MPLS book, released in 2000. Outdated, but you still need it for
understanding MPLS, MPLS cell-mode, L3 VPN and Inter-AS.

1168441081/ref=pd_bbs_3/102-2490752-7796963?ie=UTF8&s=books

MPLS and VPN Architectures, Vol. 2
Very good book.
http://www.amazon.com/MPLS-VPN-Architectures-Vol-2/dp/1587051125/sr=8-8/qid=
1168441081/ref=pd_bbs_8/102-2490752-7796963?ie=UTF8&s=books

MPLS Fundamentals
This is a new book, and it has very good explanations, but read it once you
read all other books, because you'll find a lot of repetition from the first
two books
http://www.amazon.com/MPLS-Fundamentals-Luc-Ghein/dp/1587051974/sr=8-1/qid=1
168441081/ref=pd_bbs_1/102-2490752-7796963?ie=UTF8&s=books

MPLS Configuration on Cisco IOS Software (Networking Technology)
This is a very good book for understanding how to configure most of
scenarios related to CCIE lab, but be careful because some configs and
drawings contain mistakes, especially in the Inter-AS section! This book is
a "must-have".

1587051990/sr=8-5/qid=1168441081/ref=pd_bbs_5/102-2490752-7796963?ie=UTF8&s=
books

Traffic Engineering with MPLS
This is an excellent resource for understanding TE in and out. You probably
don't need to know TE in this much detail for the lab, but you should still
read it. TE is fun!
http://www.amazon.com/Traffic-Engineering-MPLS-Eric-Osborne/dp/1587050315/sr
=8-12/qid=1168441081/ref=pd_bbs_12/102-2490752-7796963?ie=UTF8&s=books

The following books are also available, but are not really needed for the
lab:

Definitive MPLS Network Designs (Networking Technology)
http://www.amazon.com/Definitive-Network-Designs-Networking-Technology/dp/15
87051869/sr=8-2/qid=1168441081/ref=pd_bbs_2/102-2490752-7796963?ie=UTF8&s=bo
oks

QoS for IP/MPLS Networks (Networking Technology)
http://www.amazon.com/QoS-MPLS-Networks-Networking-Technology/dp/1587052334/
sr=8-23/qid=1168442239/ref=sr_1_23/102-2490752-7796963?ie=UTF8&s=books
