the Distance command will effect prefix not routing protocol way of learn
but you need to know that Distance will not effect the decision making of
another router it is only locally significant. and working with the Distance
in EIGRP or RIP is different then OSPF as far as the OSPF is a link state so
you will need to look on the OSPF Database who generated the LSA of that
prefix you want to alter and on RIP and EIGRP you need to check the routing
table to see what direct point that you received the information from so its
2 different methods of using the Distance Command.
