Thanks Scott,
It seems like PIM needs to be enabled on the fast ethernet interface also. I
lab'd it and couldn't find it multicast feeds being received on the hosts
behind the fast ethernet interface. If i issue 'debug ip igmp' command i do
not find any igmp queries sent out fastethernet interface.
