In the testing I did during my lab prep - I didn't configure the directed
broadcast on R2 serial - only R2 ethernet - and things worked fine.
I have seen variations on the configuration from various sources on the net
but the example on the doccd did the trick. The only exception being
manipulating the ttl on the helper-map to make things work across many
multicast routers.
