Man Petr, I did the 8-12 routine for only 2 weeks before my last attempt and
that was too much non-stop study. I don't see how you could have done that
for over a month. Better man than me!
I decided after that (and arriving at my lab really good and crispy by then)
that I wasn't going to try to cram like that just prior to the lab and take
a more methodical and consistent approach. We'll see in May how that works
out for me. ;-)

It actually took me a little more than a month to finally prerare for voice
exam (all the time up to that I was just playing around...).. Though I must
mention those were "start practicing at 8am and end at 12pm" days :)
Voice exam is *pretty* much about speed, more than any other CCIE lab
probably.. So during that last month you need to come up with a solid lab
attack plan. Strategy was really important with the voice lab, since I would
never dare to take the lab in "linear"
fashion :)
