It's very practical question Jonny,

For me 8:30 am to 5:30 pm work. and I am able to manage about 3-5 hours of
daily study.
Full labs on weekend only. Most time I just grab a workbook and go through
the scenario's.
Also I prepare a short notes on the studied topics.

With work when I had to do some field work and arrive home late by 7 , 8 or
even sometime 9pm, that really upset my schedule.

I know a few guys who were able to manage time during working hour (lucky
those ones).

At work my schedule is usually very tight. I do support customers on about
1000 products (SDH/PDH/IP/WiMAX/SONET/Cisco/Accelerator/L4-L7 switches),
doing some pre-sales work when I am idle, labbing the scenario which
customer has in the field and do some POC testing. Answering sales person's
silly queries - what product will fit for this customer, why blah....they
keep me nagging.....

So I can not steal the working hours for my labs!!

Cheers

Frog
