I honestly believe it wouldn't be couterproductive. On the other hand, I
don't think it will make any difference to your techniques in less than
24hours.

In my own candid opinion, If you're going to pass CCIE, it wouldn't be
down to what you went through a day before. That will be down to months
of prep, skill building, time management and ability to work under
pressure.

You need to be in your best state of mind for the lab, CCIE isn't only a
test of techniques and skills, it's also a test of your mental ability
to cope under pressure, identify your mistakes in good time and quality
time management.

Some of the things in the lab comes to you easy, because of months and
years of hardwork, not because of a 24hours last minute prep! Trust me.

Many Thanks

Subject: Do a practice lab the day before?

In your expert opinions,

Do you think doing an 8 hour practice lab the day before the real lab
would be counterproductive?

On one hand I think it would keep techniques fresh in my mind but on
the other hand it might burn me out for the real lab.

Thanks,
Greg
