Dennis,
I have taken it twice, the first time I went in expecting little and
did pretty well, didn't pass though. But I knew what I needed to bone up
on. The second time I just stunk, and was very disappointed because I
thought I had studied hard (obviously not). So I to had thoughts of taking
the high road and just saying "hey, I know the technologies, why feed Cisco
the money". But I then realized I WANT that number. I want the number
because it will open so many doors and it is something I started 10 years
ago when I started down this career path. The CCNA, the CCNP and I want
that CCIE if for nothing else than to say "I DID IT!!!".
Have a few drinks, get it out of your system and JUMP back in there. It is
too easy to quit!!!! You have heard it or read it a thousand times, no one
likes to lose, but pony up and get back in there.......Trust me it will make
getting that number all that much more GREAT!!!!
Winner of 2 CCIE Purple hearts

Good Morning Fellow Candidates,
I have say, when you feel good about it, it really sucks to see bad news.
I finished my 3rd attempt yesterday, and I awakened to a dream that my score
report was in. I was right, but the bad news was FAILURE!
I've spent the last few hours pondering over what could have been missed. I
just don't see it, and wondering if I ever will. I'm real sure the lab is
doable, but from my stand point, I just don't know how. My score report
seems to far off in 1 section, and right on in the rest. I don't know where
to begin to pick my poison for studying again.
I've already begun to fight again this morning on the basics, but this will
never be enough to get me over the hump. I guess the thought of another
failed attempt is not very pleasing, and the cost is just starting to burn
for the road to higher ground.
Any thoughts are welcome, and in case anyone cares to know what material I
use.
I have my own lab
Internetwork Expert - WB, CoD, and Mock Lab WS
Netmasterclass - WB,QOS VoD, NMC-1, and NMC-2
DOC CD <-- NOT NICE!
NOW I MUST DRINK FOR AT LEAST ONE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
