The 2800 series are great, but very expensive, if you are looking into
building your own rack, my recommendation is 2611XM, they come with 2 Fast
Ethernet ports and they run most of the IOSes and you can also add serial
interfaces. The 2610XMs have one Fast Ethernet port and in most cases you
need two. These routers are advertised for roughly $400 on ebay.
