Another vote for just about 0 caffeine during study time. Keeping somewhat
active during my prep was a key piece to helping me stay focused. When I
first started to buckle down for the lab I cut my gym sessions back to just
2-3x a week approx 30 mins. Usually I would hit the gym 5x days a week for
at least a hour and bike ride on weekends. I am lucky where after a quick
workout I am more alert, awake and focused. This also helps me fall asleep
faster at the end of the day. Too little of sleep and you are just working
against yourself IMO. I persoanlly function best with about 6 hours of sleep
As for caffeine during the lab. I was so wired and ready I didn't need any
help, just good ol water :-)
