Scenario:
HostA-------------------******************** bundle
********************
*
*--------------------* *
HostB-------------------* SWITCH A * *
SWITCH B *--------SERVER
*
*--------------------* *
HostC-------------------********************
*********************
Switch A and Switch B are both CATALYST 3560 and are linked forming an
etherchannel bundle together.
Clients are attached to SWITCHA, and the server is attached to SWITCHB.
For choosing the best load balancing method who fits the design, what is the
best load balancing method for switch A as well as for switch B?
Some explanations become some confusing to me. When talking about load
balance according to source-mac who is the default: When switch A recibed
frames destined to the server he will load balance according to the source
of each of its clients, to the etherchannel in the path to the server? is
this ok?
what about the return path? from the server to the clients?
Thanks.
