Sure thing, but what if you are not allowed to change the mask on the
interface and you are still required to advertise it as /24? Like I said below
- it can be done.

The two options you are mentioning two advertise a loopback interface
with a /24 are correct as well as your route-map ,but you can only
advertise a loopback as a /24 if indeed that is the mask that you have
configured with the ip address in the interface.
