We had to supply our own usernames back then, but that was the easy part.
Identifying the connect rate by listening to the modems took extra work.

I think the end of 2001 as well... October comes to mind, but not 100%
sure!
My ISP-Dial lab (April 2001) was still the two day format. My Security lab
(May 2002) was the one-day format.
