HI Group,
When redistributing between two different RIPng instances, doesn't the redistribute command pick up the prefixes from the connected interfaces in which corresponding RIPng is enabled. exampls, I have two RIPng instances as below
ipv6 router rip cisco67
redistribute rip cisco12 metric 3
!
ipv6 router rip cisco12
redistribute rip cisco67 metric 3
!
The redistribution commands picks the routes from the routing table, but doesnt pick the connected interfaces.
With ipv4, redistribution will pick up routes from routing table and the interfaces in which routing protocol is enabled unless we have redistribute connected statement as well. Is this redistribution behavior changed with ipv6 routing protocols??
