I've just watched Brians class on CAT QoS (sounds abit like catOS)
It was quite good apart from the lack of warning about operating heavy
machinery while watching this video, or anything where someone could get hurt
if you fell asleep (i think that more the subject matter not Brian himself)
There was one thing though. Towards the end he talks about configuring the
priority queue on the cat 3560. He talks about putting high priority traffic
into queue4. Please correct me if im wrong but isn't the priority queue on
the 3560 actually queue 1 not queue 4. I'm pretty sure it's queue 1 not 4 as
the video suggests.
Just in case it wasn't confusing. "I've got a good idea, the 3550 was really
but when we bring out a new switch lets swap the priority queue from 4 to 1,
that will really trick them"
I never like being 100% sure so someone jump in and let me know for sure.
thanks
Alex
