Hey Kevin,
Try this:
1> Start -> Run -> Eventvwr
2> Clear all the logs from APPLICATTION and SYSTEMS
3> RUN the Dynamips again and search with the Event ID: and Error code in
Google and follow the url pointers to MICROSOFT site.
4> This Generally happens if you tried installing applications after
Dynamips installed, then new installed application occupy the memory address
register and since that register is busy your Dynamips does not have that
register free to run.
5> Once you find out that application 'UNINSTALL' and try dynamips again
after reload the system.
6> Give a try to reinstallation of Dynamips if doesn't work.
7> Finally if does not work, look for the upgrade version of Dynamips :-)
this will resolve the problem.
Regards,
Vinod

Subject: Dynamips won't start / Disappears
Hello all,
I've been trying to load Dynamips on my new Vista machine
(internetworkexpert 4.01 version). Had it running perfectly on XP
before. I've shared access to the Dynampips folder and disabled the FW
(which was my first issue) but now when I double click the "Dynamips
Server" instead of two windows appearing like before, a window appears
for a brief second and then disappears. Then nothing else happens.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
Kevin
