Hi,
I've checked several docs on CCO and some groupstudy
archives and have a uestion still.
On a switch doing L2, can I still rate limit and can I do it
to only certain traffic using an ACL? For example if I have
a 1GB uplink and I want to limit traffic from subnet
10.10.10.0/24 to 100Mb, can I do it on the outbound/uplink
port of the switch or do I have to do it on a L3 interface
upstream?
Also would the police statement to limit the traffic to
100Mb look like the following:
police 100000000 bps 250000 byte confirm-action transmit
exceed-action drop
Thanks,
Ian
