EIGRP dymanic changing delay

Hi, I have a quick question on EIGRP

If a network is running EIGRP.

On one link the delay chances so that it is high and this link is not the
best route. What is the best way to make sure that the link is selected when
the delay is low but not when it is high?

Will EIGRP recaluclate when the delay changes?
