Hi WorkerBee,

Do you have the inline power supply installed in the 2811? IIRC, if you
didn't order that from the factory, it's an upgrade. It's probably been two
years back now, but I think I made that mistake once when the ISRs were
still pretty new. Didn't realize that I needed the additional power supply.

*IF* I remember this right, that ILPM in the below output is actually just
the inline power daughter card on your ESW module - it's not the actual
power supply that feeds it.

Have a look here:

Sorry if I'm totally off base here but it's Saturday night so probably
responses will roll in slowly, figured I'd roll the dice. This is a very
vague memory from quite some time back...

Subject: Configure 2811 HWIC-4ESW PoE

Anyone knows how to make this PoE card work? I tried connecting an IP
Phone to the port, it shows as down and not supply power to the IP
Phone. It is up when I connect to another switch. I am getting rid of
3560-PoE switches for space saving cards instead.

I am running 12.4(15)T1 image but under the interface configuration
mode, I don't see anything related to command 'power inline....'.

I am sure the card is recognize as follows:
