finding rip prefixes after redistributing

Hey All,

was thinking about a lab I did the other day....I had a sub-optimal path
to a network via OSPF (ad = 110) and the path via rip was one hop
away...all ethernet. so to look at doing some "distance hacking" I
did this on my rip router:

R2#show ip rip database | ex dir
8.8.0.0/16 auto-summary
8.8.11.0/24
    [1] via 8.8.25.5, 00:00:24, Serial0/1/0
8.8.35.0/24
    [1] via 8.8.25.5, 00:00:24, Serial0/1/0
8.8.35.3/32
    [1] via 8.8.25.5, 00:00:24, Serial0/1/0
8.8.103.0/24
    [2] via 8.8.25.5, 00:00:22, Serial0/1/0
8.8.105.0/24
    [1] via 8.8.25.5, 00:00:24, Serial0/1/0
R2#

my goal being to find prefixes learned via rip to do my distance
hacking.

good idea or heresy? anyone seen or done it better?
