There was a post a while back that indicated the PC's were all newish Dell's with LCD's and Japanese layout keyboards, the OS was in English, not sure about locale though, I would assume Japanese locale
I'm about to buy a Japanese layout k/b from Dell for practice :)
I remember someone saying it was SecureCRT also, although a pre-tabbed version.

If you are in Japan, wouldn't the Japanese Keyboard be the "normal one"? :)
I'm sure someone who's been to the Japan lab can answer for sure, but AFAIK,
you can request a US-based keyboard there if not otherwise provided.
