Hello all. I know that shaping is purely an outbound function, so
considering that, I've always been curious why there is the option to
specify the direction in a frame-relay map-class. In doing some reading
I found that it's used for SVCs. Now the lab blueprint says
"Frame-Relay" with no specifics so I assume that leaves it open for
everything under the FR sun. Being that hardly anyone uses SVCs, do you
think that it will be very likely to find them on the test and necessary
to spend a lot of time on practicing or are SVCs not on the board? (Of
course it's probably best to study everything, it don't hurt to learn
something extra). I've look through this years archives and see only 1
question on SVCs and it was unanswered so it looks like there is not too
much concern (or easy to configure and not an issue) Thanks.
